Case Study: Supashock’s Partnership with Rheinmetall to Develop a New Anti-Tank Guided Missile Launcher

Supashock has developed a new anti-tank guided missile launcher, a modular design that can easily be adapted to other military vehicles, starting with Rheinmetall’s Lynx KF41. The new missile launcher is built for the globe from Supashock’s advanced manufacturing facility in South Australia.

Case Study: Supashock’s Suspension System for the Lynx KF41, a Rheinmetall Partnership

One of Supashock’s flagship products is the suspension system (also referred to as ‘running gear’) designed for the Lynx KF41, a next-generation armoured fighting vehicle developed by Rheinmetall, a global leader in Defence technology.

Case Study: Supashock’s CAE Capabilities in Designing an Anti-Tank Guided Missile Launcher for the Lynx KF41 Infantry Fighting Vehicle

The ATGM Launcher was required to meet challenging weight, performance, and structural requirements. Supashock’s dedicated Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) team was engaged throughout the design process and played a key role in the project’s success.

Case Study: Supashock’s Lynx Retractable Crane – a Study in Innovative Design

Supashock has developed an innovative retractable crane system for the Lynx Combat Support Vehicle (CSV) manufactured by Rheinmetall. The Lynx CSV is a highly mobile and adaptable vehicle designed for a range of combat support roles, including vehicle repair and recovery.

The retractable crane system, designed and manufactured by Supashock, enables the Lynx to lift and move heavy loads while on the move, without the need for additional support vehicles or specialised equipment. This provides the Lynx with a significant advantage in terms of mobility and flexibility, enabling it to operate in a wider range of environments and conditions.

Case Study: The Design of Supashock’s Passive Damper for the Lynx IFV

Supashock was tasked with the development of a passive damper for Rheinmetall’s Lynx KF41 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV). The challenge was to design a shock absorber that would mount to existing installation points, and be lightweight. The shock absorber also had to pass a catastrophic failure load case provided by Rheinmetall. This case study provides an overview of Supashock’s passive damper design for the Lynx IFV.

Case Study: Streamlining Military Logistics with Supashock’s Automated Load Handling System

Supashock has developed a new logistics system designed to streamline military operations. Designed in collaboration with industry partner Rheinmetall, the Automated Load Handling System (ALHS) is a pioneering technical solution that enables safe, efficient, automated loading and unloading of ISO containers and STANAG-compliant flat racks.
