Lynx Retractable Crane System

Rheinmetall’s Lynx family of next-generation tracked combat vehicles are designed for complex and unpredictable battlefield conditions, offering maximum freedom of action and outstanding mobility.

The Lynx is capable of being configured to suit a variety of different mission types, and one of the main configurations is the Repair & Recovery vehicle.

A key tool of the Lynx Repair & Recovery vehicle is the Supashock Retractable Crane. The telescopic crane was developed for use in field operations including recovery and maintenance applications for military vehicles.

The highest capability crane in its class, this system has an extremely compact design and high-lifting capacity, and can be upgrade with automated operation functionality.

The crane was designed using the latest FEA (Finite Element Analysis) techniques to minimise boom deflection and cylinder loads.

The Supashock Retractable Crane System is a flexible design and can be integrated into both land and maritime applications.
